This lightweight Portable Air Scrubber (PAS) creates the definitive air purification solution for water damage restoration contractors by combining the bacteria-killing power of germicidal UV technology with the air-cleansing performance of HEPA filtration.

Benefits of UV Lamps
UV lamps have been used in health care and food processing & storage facilities for over 60 years, to help control biological contaminants (bacteria, mold, viruses, etc.) and related microbial VOC (MVOC) and odors by exposing the microbes to high levels of UV-C irradiation. Sufficient levels of UV irradiation can destroy microbes by altering their DNA and interfering with their reproduction process. UV dosage is a function of exposure intensity, exposure time, and the distance between the UV source and the microbe. The design of the PRED1200UV forces air to pass very closely past the ultra-high intensity UV lamp to maximize exposure.
Note: The particulate filters in the PRED1200UV do not remove odors, vapors or gases, including volatile organic compounds.

This filter has MERV 4 rating (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) according to the measuring scale to rate the effectiveness of air filters set by the ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Condition). A rate 4 means the effectiveness of this filter turns around the capture of 75% of the particles 10 µm or bigger.

Replacing the F621 pre-filter is simple because the PRED1200UV features a unique “no tools needed” cabinet design that provides easy access for fast pre-filter replacement, ensuring longevity of your system and minimizing possible repair or replacement costs.
The PRED1200UV filter change indicator light will turn red to let you know when there is excessive restriction on intake or loading of the filter(s) and that filter change procedures should be followed.

The second-stage 2"-deep, UV-resistant pleated pre-filter (H502UVR) is designed to capture particles 10 microns or larger. The filter media in the UV-resistant pleated filter is yellow in color.
NOTE: The H502UVR pre-filter must be in place, or the UV lamp will not operate.

- The pleated H502 filter is NOT designed for use with UV lamps. Do not use the H502 pleated filter or substitute other non UV resistant filters in units that use a UV lamp because these products may off-gas, produce unpleasant odors, degrade, and in some cases, completely deteriorate.
- If you have a unit that uses a UV lamp like the PRED1200UV you will want to purchase the H502UVR UV-resistant pleated filter.

How it Works
Featuring a powerful Microorganism-Killing UVGI Germicidal Radiation Lamp, high output (39 watts), and internally mounted, located below the pre-filters with safety interlock protection, the high-capacity UV lamp (UV415) is used to inhibit the growth of bacteria, viruses, and mold spores, by exposing them to high levels of UV energy to actively "kill" bacteria and viruses by destroying their DNA.
Replacing Your UV415
The UV lamp has a rated service life of approximately one year, provided it is not turned “ON” and “OFF” several times a day.
The manufacturer recommends you change the UV415 UVGI Plus Ozone long-life quartz lamp after 9000 hours (1 year) of use under normal operating conditions.

PRED1200UV Final Stage Round Replacement HEPA Filter Gets the Job Done
The H610C-99 is the final stage round replacement HEPA filter for Abatement Technologies, Inc.'s multi-use PRED1200UV air filtration device, equipped with pre-filters and a HEPA filter capable of filtering many airborne contaminants.
The PRED1200UV provides particulate and odor, vapor, gas filtration with final stage filtration through a High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter. The PRED1200UV incorporates a series of particulate filters which successively remove larger size to smaller size particles from the air.
In addition to providing HEPA filtration, the PRED1200UV is primarily used in a negative pressure or recirculation mode. A negative pressure condition is created to confine contaminated airborne particles. This condition exists when the static pressure inside the room containing the unit is lower relative to the pressure of the environment outside the room. The static pressure differential is created and maintained by continuously exhausting air out of a given room at a faster rate than air enters the room from all other sources.
In the recirculation mode, all the filtered air is exhausted back into the room containing the unit.
How HEPA Works
HEPA filters capture 99.97% of airborne contaminants as small as 0.3 microns in size. The Abatement Technologies H610C-99 HEPA filter removes bacteria, mold spores, soot, pollens, animal hair, animal dander, dust mites, smoke particles, and other allergens and lung damaging particles.
A largely effective final stage filter!
Easy Replacement for Optimal Performance
The PRED1200UV features a filter change indicator specific to the HEPA filter. A red light indicates excessive restriction on air exhaust or loading of the HEPA filter and that filter change procedures should be followed.
The manufacturer recommends you change the H610C-99 HEPA filter every 2 to 3 years under normal operating conditions. However, the size and concentration of airborne contaminants, temperature, humidity conditions and duration of use determine how often filters need replacement. As the filters become loaded with particulate matter, the airflow capacity of the unit decreases and the static pressure differential across the filter increases.
Abatement PREDATOR and HEPA-AIRE Portable Air Scrubbers are equipped with easy-to-read filter change indicator lamps that illuminate when filters should be replaced. Unlike gauges, these lamps do not require operator interpretation or calculations. Average filter life (with continuous operation):
