Fiberlock Technologies AfterShock is an EPA-registered antimicrobial coating designed to kill residual mold and mildew remaining after pre-cleaning contaminated surfaces. AfterShock also inhibits the future growth and spread of mold and mildew on the cured film surface in residential and institutional buildings. This extremely durable, easy to apply, 100% acrylic sealant offers the ultimate in durability in combination with excellent fungicidal characteristics to address mold growth from water damage. AfterShock is recommended for use on interior wall surfaces such as plaster, wallboard, drywall, concrete, masonry block, wood, primed metal and galvanized metal. Fiberlock AfterShock is also recommended for use on interior wood framing, primed metal, concrete, and wallboard inside the wall cavity.

What's so special about Fiberlock's Aftershock Mold Remediaton paint anyways?

Surface Preparation

  • Stir throughly
  • Remove Damaged materials & Clean Surfaces
  • Aftershock is self-priming on gypsum drywall, composition board, celing tiles, and concrete
  • Do Not apply when air or surface temp is below 50 deg F
  • Drywall: -sand joint cement smooth, do not abrade the paper
  • Ferrous Metal - Clean - Then prime with IAQ 4000 acrylic DTM primer
  • Wood - Seal Knots & stains with Fiberlock IAQ 5000 stain-blocking primer
  • Masonry Block - If a denser surface is desired, apply one coat of IAQ 3000, (Masonry Block Filler) - (White).

    • Apply @ 2000-3000 psi with tip size between .017-.021
Product Application
  • Remove filth and heavy soil
  • pre-cleanign is required for heavily soiled areas
  • Apply generously to cover entiere surface with tool of choice.
  • Allow to air dry

    Aftershock kills the smell quickly and gets the walls cleaned up fast for build back.! I have an added comfort that in future floods cleanup ,disinfecting, and drying will be much easier.

    Needed a solution for a basement with mildew and water damage. Used shockwave and aftershock and went from sneezy basement to holy shit it smells like new wood same day. Really worked well.
